Women’s History Month
March 2021
Every year, the month of March is dedicated to the celebration of the achievements of women past and present. Women comprise half the population of the world and make valuable and lasting contributions to society in all kinds of ways.
Education is no exception. Around 76 per cent of NEU members are women who do amazing things every day.
As educators, we must celebrate our own and each other's achievements to show future generations of women and girls that they can do anything if they speak up, speak out and take up space!
